About The Organization
The Johnson County Community Cats Inc (JCCC) is the only cat specific rescue and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program located in Johnson County, Indiana and is 100% volunteer run and donation funded.
We began in 2013 as a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program to help combat the high number of cats and kittens entering and being euthanized in Johnson County animal shelters.
Since then we have transported over 5,000 cats for spay/neuter and adopted out hundreds of friendly cats to new homes, become our own 501c3 cat only rescue, and obtained our own facility.
Our goals are to always find the perfect homes for friendly cats and kittens and to spay/neuter every cat we meet so no more cats have to live outside.
JCCC offers many services throughout Johnson County:
- TNR for Community Cats
- Low-cost spay/neuter for indoor cats
- Adoption for friendly cats and kittens and owner surrenders
- Food Pantry for low income households and Community Cat Caregivers
- Medical assistance for feral Community Cats Outreach and Education programs to educate the community on responsible cat ownership
We are dedicated to providing the best care for every cat we meet and ensuring that they get the best second chance they can.
